Does the Kean University Library have children's (juvenile) books?
Yes. The children's books are kept in the Juvenile Collection on the third floor. Check the Library Map for the collection's location.
The Juvenile Collection includes picture books, easy books, biographies, series, fiction, and non-fiction for preschool to grade 12. This collection is shelved according to the Dewey Decimal system.
The Kean Catalog is the gateway to the Library's books, and you can search for specific children's books by title or author. Simply go to the Kean University Library home page, then click Books, E-books, Videos, & More to access the Kean Catalog. Type the title or author name in the search box, select Author Browse or Title Begins with from the Find Results In box on the right. Limit your search to children's books by selecting Juvenile Collection from the Limit Your Search menu, then click Search.
Make note of the Library Location designation for any titles of interest. For children's books, you should see: Library Location: Main Collection - Juvenile, 3rd floor.
Also, make note of the Call Number and Status for any titles of interest. When a book's Status specifies Available, this means that the book is not checked out.
