Where on the website can I get access to academic databases?
Simply go to the Kean University Library home page, then click Articles & More to access the Databases page.
The databases are organized in two different lists. In one list the databases are listed alphabetically, and in the other list the databases are listed by subject or format. Click on a database name to access the database and begin searching for articles on your topic.
Many of these databases will offer the option to limit your search to scholarly (or peer-reviewed) journal articles.
If you need help selecting databases for a particular research topic, please consult with a Reference librarian or browse the Research Guides for recommendations on subject-focused research resources (once you select a Research Guide for your topic, click the Find Articles tab for links to recommended databases for the subject).
Please note: When you are off-campus, you will be asked to enter your Kean Google user name and password as soon as you click on a database name. You can obtain a Kean Google user name and password from the Office of Computer and Information Services at (908) 737-6000.
