Q. As a new student, will I be able to borrow books from the library?

Yes.

Physical books may be found on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the library collection, and can be checked out at the front desk on the 1st floor or by using the self-service kiosk, also found on the first floor lobby. 

A current Kean University photo ID is required to borrow books.
The holder of the ID will be responsible for all materials charged against the patron's account.

Your Kean photo ID will also serve as your library card for checking out Course Reserves and study room keys.  

In addition, you will have access to Kean's E-books as well as off-campus access to library databases, all of which will require you to login with your Kean Google user name and password.
