Q. Where are the encyclopedias?

Many print encyclopedias are shelved in the Reference Collection on the second floor of the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons, where you will find subject-focused resources like Encyclopedia of Aging and Public Health, Encyclopedia of Juvenile Justice, and more. These specialized encyclopedias provide helpful introductory articles on topics related to specific subject areas.  

The Nancy Thompson Learning Commons also has a number of online encyclopedias, including the general encyclopedias Britannica Academic (Encyclopaedia Britannica) and Britannica Escolar Online (Encyclopaedia Britannica). Online subject encyclopedias may be accessed through Gale eBooks and SAGE Knowledge.
