You can access the Periodicals A-Z List to find journals subscribed to by the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons (Library). Here are some brief instructions on how to use it:

  • Visit the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons website.
  • Click on the "Periodicals A-Z" option located below the Search WorldCat Discovery box.
  • Enter the name of the periodical in the "Search Title" box.
  • Click the search button.

If the periodical title appears in the results list with a "Full Text Access" link, it means that full-text online articles are available for the indicated date range through the database(s) listed below the title. Click on the database(s) to access the full-text content. If you are off-campus, you will need to enter your Kean University email username and password in a login box.

If the periodical title does not appear in the list, consult a librarian to ensure you are using the correct title. If the Library does not subscribe to the journal, you can request a copy of the desired article via Interlibrary Loan.

When the Library does not have a book or periodical, you can request that the item be sent from another lending library through Interlibrary Loan. The lending Library will email copies of articles to you.

To submit a request for an Interlibrary Loan, please fill out the online Interlibrary Loan form.
