Q. How long can I keep a book I check out?

Please visit the Circulation Policies page on the Nancy Thompson Library and Learning Commons home page. (Move the cursor over to Library Services tab/menu, then click Circulation Policies.)

The Circulation Policies page lists book loan periods and limits for members of the Kean community.

The loan period varies for books borrowed from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan, in which case the loan period is determined by the lending library. You would be informed of the due date when you pick up an Interlibrary Loan book at the Circulation Desk in the Nancy Thompson Library and Learning Commons.

Kean-Ocean students borrowing books from the Ocean County College Library would follow the book circulation policies in place at the Ocean County College Library.
