Q. How do I access the LEARN Module?

Canvas Self-Enrollment Instructions for LEARN (Library Essentials for Access and Research Navigation) Module

1. Go to https://kean.instructure.com/enroll/7MEDMA

2. Login to your Canvas account using your Kean “Single Sign On” username and password.

3. Click the "Enroll in Course" button.

4. Locate LEARN (Library Essentials for Access and Research Navigation), which should now be listed as one of the “courses” on your Canvas Dashboard.

Overview of the LEARN Module

LEARN consists of 4 self-paced units (each with several self-check questions) and concludes with the LEARN Final Quiz.

The units cover the following topics:

● Developing Topics and Using Reference Resources

● Selecting and Searching Databases

● "Credibility Continuum": Identifying Valid Sources

● Appropriate Use of Scholarly Works

The LEARN Final Quiz consists of 20 questions and, once submitted by a student, will automatically produce a personalized certificate showing the date of completion and quiz score. Students will be able to download the certificate as a PDF and/or send it via email.
